Adult Bible Study
Throughout the year, our parish offers opportunities for our members to study God’s Holy Word. Meets on Thursday evenings at 6:30pm to study scripture, share faith experiences and grow in the image and likeness of Christ.

Youth Ministry
For youth in grades 7-8; opportunities to help grow in our faith by spreading the joy of Jesus through service! Complements our Faith Formation Program and School. For grades 9-12, we have joy filled service opportunities focused on encountering Jesus and growing in faith through small group sharing, field trips, solid Catholic learning experiences and hospitality, prayer, and adoration.

CHRISTIAN SERVICE
Christian Service helps those in need with corporal works of mercy. Includes: funeral lunches, monthly coffee and donut Sunday, St. Joseph Layette (items for newborns), Stars of Christmas (clothing and toys for needy children), two blood drives annually, MCREST (meals for the homeless), bake sales (to help with expenses for our Rosary Makers), Sunshine Lady (sends cards to parishioners for special birthdays), prepares meals for special clergy luncheons/dinners.

Life Issues Committee … Passionately Pro-Life
Promote life from conception to natural death, creating awareness through prayer, community outreach and parish-based programs. Includes 40 Days for Life, White Crosses, Baby Bottle Drive, Christmas Cards, Mother Day carnations, March for Life, Parades, and Spiritual Adoption. Meets once monthly.

Grief Support Ministry
To help parishioners and others who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Funeral Greeters are on-site the day of the funeral to assist the family and guests. We mail “CareNotes” and letters of support during the first year of loss. There are also as-needed support gatherings for those grieving regardless of the time it has been since the loss.

Boomers & beyond
A Christian-based Senior Ministry Social Group. We gather in the Parish Hall on the first Thursday of each month (11:30 AM to 1:30 PM). Potluck lunch and games. We also arrange for various local day trips as well as overnight bus tours for those interested.

Welcome Team
Contact and welcome new Immaculate Conception Parishioners by phone. Introduce new parishioners to Immaculate Conception Parish, assist with enrolling for sacraments, religious education, advise of parish ministries and activities, review Immaculate Conception School (Pre-K through 8th grade). Team is present at “Coffee and Donuts” events, to greet new and existing parishioners.

Mary’s Garden
If you love being outdoors, love flowers, and have a devotion to our Blessed Mother, this ministry is for you! NO GARDENING EXPERIENCE NEEDED! Variety of tasks … volunteer as much or little as you are able.

Loving Hands
The Loving Hands Group meets a couple of times a month after Monday morning Mass to clean the Church. We are the people, behind the scenes, who help things shine in radiant ways!

Church decor
A visual beautification of the Sanctuary. Planning and decorating our worship area to reflect the liturgical season and various celebrations during the year. Responsible for ensuring all the cloths used on the altar and other areas of the Sanctuary are clean and pressed as needed. 3-4 hours a week, 7-10 hours a week during Christmas and Easter.
